All of our architectural draughting services start with a home visit, where we will come to your property with an experienced surveyor who will carry out a measured survey of the whole house. We will take photos both internally and externally before discussing your design brief with you in more detail. Once we have a good understanding of exactly what you’re looking for we will then pass our survey notes, photos and design brief to one of our designers who will get to work on providing you with your planning drawings. At Discount Plans, we aim to get your planning drawings to you within two weeks from your survey date and we will then organise a second home visit so that we can go over the drawings in the space and finalise the proposal. 

 

We understand that these planning drawings won’t always be correct the first time and we therefore always provide any amendments required free of charge. We will work closely with you to ensure that the final drawing is exactly as you hoped. At Discount Plans, we also always want to submit the perfect design saving you both time and money in getting it right the first time. On average we will create approximately 9 planning drawings that can be presented to the council explaining your request.
