This project was all done on a permitted development design basis. The Loft conversion was a hip to gable design with a full with rear dormer and rear projection which gave this loft a unique space and volume inside. The Loft was related to the ground floor rear extension as the ground floor extension ceilings where cleverly lowered to accommodate for the additional room added within the loft space for maximum head height being achieved.
The rear extension was built to 3000mm deep, so no planning was needed as falls under permitted development. The build took 14 weeks for the whole house to be complete.
