The advice outlines the main considerations taken into account by the Council when assessing applications for extensions.
Due to the diversity of dwelling types and styles throughout the Borough, it is neither possible nor desirable to include every eventuality. However, general principles can be applied in the majority of cases.

This design guide document outlines the Council's guidelines for 2012. However, all cases will be considered on their own merit.
